Shivalik Public School, Mohali
The Shivalik Public School (SPS) is an English-medium, private, co-educational residential-cum-day school located in Sector 56, Mohali, India and has three other subsidiaries in Chandigarh, Patiala, and Nawanshahr. The institution was established in 1970. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is one of the most prestigious school in Punjab. The school caters to pupils from kindergarten up to class 12. This school has been ranked as number 1st in Mohali, 11th in Punjab and 88th in India. In addition, this school has got 6th position as an active participant in co-curricular activities and 10th in its infrastructure provision at the national level.
==Campus site and layout==
The campus has an area of approximately . There is a provision for about 500 students in its residential school with all the modern amenities. The school has made a notable addition to its existing infrastructure which includes the first Indoor deco-turf tennis court , astro -turf hockey ground and state-of-the-art Auditorium biggest in the northern region and a multi-purpose Gymnasium. Over the years, it has emerged into an important educational and cultural hub of the region.
